Arista T. Livengood, 74, prominent practicing attorney of Fountain County for over 50 years died at his home in Covington about noon Thursday January 1, following an extended ilnees. He was the son of Solomon and Elizabeth Day Livengood and was born Sept 10, 1867 in Jackson Township, Fountain County. For several years he served as attorney for the city of Veedersburg. Survivors are: the widow, Mrs. Caddy Livengood, two daughters, Miss Avolene at home and Mrs. Bernard Webb, Washington, Indiana. There are also two brothers, V.E. and Ora Livengood, Covington and two sisters,Mrs. Jane Booe, Crawfordsville and Mrs. Nellie McKee Hillsboro. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon in Covington with Rev. O.W. McGaughey officiating. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery. - kbz
